Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of techpuvi.com(the “Site”), operated by Techpuvi Innovations (OPC) Private Limited(“Techpuvi”, “we”, “us”), a private company registered in India.

By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Site.

2. The Site vs. our services

These Terms cover use of the website: browsing pages, submitting the contact form, subscribing to the newsletter, and reading our content.

Software development engagements are governed separately. Any work we deliver - discovery, design, build, scale - is performed under a signed Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work, or equivalent contract between you and Techpuvi. Where a signed agreement exists, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms for the work covered by it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use the Site. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to:

  • Use the Site for genuine enquiries, research, and reading our public content.
  • Provide accurate information when you contact us.
  • Respect our intellectual property rights, described in the next section.
  • Comply with all applicable laws.

You agree to refrain from:

  • Submitting unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content.
  • Scraping or automated access at a rate that degrades availability for others.
  • Reverse-engineering the Site or attempting unauthorised access to our systems.
  • Using automated tools to subscribe addresses you do not own.
  • Probing for security vulnerabilities without responsible disclosure.

If you discover a security issue, please report it confidentially to info@techpuvi.com before making it public - we welcome and acknowledge responsible disclosure.

We may suspend or block access for any reason consistent with these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

  • The Site's design, code, copy, images, brand marks, and original content are owned by Techpuvi Innovations (OPC) Private Limited or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
  • “Techpuvi” and the Techpuvi logo are trademarks of Techpuvi Innovations (OPC) Private Limited. All rights reserved.
  • You may view the Site, share links to it, and quote short excerpts for commentary, criticism, or review with proper attribution.
  • You may not copy, modify, redistribute, frame, or use the Site or its content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.
  • Open-source software we publish on our public repositories is licensed under the terms in each repository - those terms govern, not these Terms.

6. Submissions you send us

When you complete the contact form or send us an email, you retain ownership of the content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that content for the purposes of replying to you, delivering any service you ask for, and improving our internal processes.

Please do not include sensitive or confidential information - trade secrets, regulated personal data, security credentials, or material protected by attorney-client privilege - in an initial enquiry. We will treat enquiries with reasonable care, but full confidentiality protections apply only once a written Non-Disclosure Agreement is in place between us.

7. Third-party services

The Site relies on the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Policy. Each is governed by its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the practices, content, or availability of third-party services we link to or depend on.

8. Availability and changes

  • We aim to keep the Site available and the information on it accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every piece of content is current at every moment.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, with or without notice.
  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Warranty disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Techpuvi disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise - including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement - with respect to the Site itself.

This disclaimer applies only to the Site. Warranties and remedies for software development services we deliver are set out in your signed engagement contract and are not affected by this section.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Techpuvi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.
  • Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site, regardless of the legal theory, will be limited to ₹10,000 (Indian Rupees ten thousand) or the equivalent in local currency at the time of the claim.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

If you have a paid engagement with us, liability for that work is governed by the agreement covering it - not by this section.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Techpuvi Innovations (OPC) Private Limited, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

  • Your violation of these Terms;
  • Content you submit through the Site;
  • Your misuse of the Site or interference with other users.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Site or these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

If you are a consumer resident outside India, you may have additional rights under local law that these Terms cannot reduce.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect, and the invalid provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

14. Entire agreement

For use of the Site, these Terms together with our Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and Techpuvi and supersede any prior agreements on that subject. For engagements, the signed contract covering that engagement is the entire agreement for that work.
